New Graduate Student Orientation 2025

The New Graduate Student Orientation event provides information about resources and activities that are available to graduate students at Sonoma State University. The event includes refreshments and a chance to connect with your incoming academic colleagues. This university-wide orientation may coordinate with a separate orientation provided by your specific graduate program.
4:30-5pm - Special Workshop with Financial Aid and Seawolf Services
- Stevenson Hall, Room 1301
- Learn about your university finances, financial aid, and funding opportunities in this 30-minute workshop that will feature the Financial Aid Director and the Director of the Seawolf Service Center.
5-6pm - Campus Resources for Graduate Students presentation
- Stevenson Hall, Room 1301
- Hear from campus offices and resources across subjects and all parts of life that are available to YOU as a graduate student at SSU. Some of the offices presenting are: the University Library, the Learning and Academic Resources Center, the Student Health Center, Counseling and Psychological Services, the Green Music Center, and MORE!
5-6:30pm - Resources Tabling
- Stevenson Hall Lobby
- Meet with representatives from the various campus offices and resources and ask ALL of the questions you have!
- Refreshments and snacks will be provided for all!
